Delete your account
This is how to delete your Ritual account, the medication log published by Forever Works SRL.
In the app
- Open Ritual and go to Settings.
- Choose Delete account, then confirm.
Ritual may ask you to sign in again first, so that nobody else can delete your account from a phone you left signed in.
Without the app
Email support@ritual.day from the address you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. If you sign in with Apple and hid your email, tell us, and we’ll find a way to confirm the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address, your name, and how you sign in.
- Every sign-in session.
- The encrypted copy of your log, and the list of your devices.
These are deleted from our server straight away. Our hosting provider keeps point-in-time backups of the database for up to 30 days, so a copy can remain there until it expires, and our email provider keeps a record of the sign-in emails we sent you for a limited time.
What is not
The log on your phone. Deleting your account leaves it there, and you can keep using Ritual without an account. To remove it, delete the app. If you want a copy first, export it from Settings.
